Auction #379 closes on April 23rd, 2024 at 9:00 PM EST.

We currently have an antique postcard auction closing every 6 weeks. The current auction has over 1800, mostly individual, antique postcard lots with descriptions and photographs.

Viewing the current postcard auction

Browse over 1800 postcard auction lots by using the dropdown list of topics in the "Postcard Auction" menu at the top of every page or by using the auction index below.

You can also use the arrow buttons at the top and bottom of all auction pages to move to the next or previous topic. Or use the search box to find keywords from our descriptions.

This auction catalog is also available for download as a dialup size PDF and a broadband size PDF for printing or viewing on your computer.

We also produce a printed catalog. If you would like a free copy of our printed catalog mailed to you please contact us.

Place your bids

Place your bids by lot number using the bidsheet form at the left side of each postcard auction page. You can also place your bids by email, telephone (231)-882-9173 or by mail.

We will post high & starting bid updates one week before the auction closes and again on the day before the auction closes. Bids will not be updated on the final day, so bid accordingly.

Bids we receive that are lower than the suggested bid will not be reduced.

Bids we receive that are equal to or greater than the suggested bid will be lowered to one advance over the second highest or the suggested bid whichever is higher.

Bid with confidence knowing that Cherryland Auctions charges no buyers premium.

Your online bids will always be confirmed by an email from either Alec or Carie Millard.

Check for high/starting bids

We post high/starting bid updates one week before the auction closes and on the day before the auction closes.

After the auction closes

Once the auction closes, if your bid is successful you will receive an email or mail invoice from Cherryland Auctions showing which lots you won and the total including shipping and handling.

Postcards will be shipped in stiff cardboard or bubble wrap to protect them during shipping. Your shipment will be fully insured by our private insurance.

Auction shipping & handling

Inside the United States: We charge actual postage cost plus $2.00 handling. Large purchases may require certification, etc. Your shipment will be fully insured by our private insurance.

Outside the United States:We charge actual postage cost plus $2.00 handling. Large purchases may require registration, etc. Your shipment will be fully insured by our private insurance.

Auction return policy

Any auction lot, the description of which is incorrect, is returnable for a complete refund within 5 days of receipt, less the cost of shipping.
